Coffee Mug *
Earthenware vessel for your favourite drink.
*small & slightly sharp ceramic protrusion on inner handle. To avoid discomfort, hold mug around the body or grip handle from the top area.
It took approximately 45min to sculpt, 1 week to dry out, 6ish hours to paint the black squares on one by one, driven from Fitzroy to Brunswick East to be fired, picked up and glazed with a clear coat, then driven back to be fired a final time. Drinking from my checkered mug is always fun to watch the different sized checks shimmer in the coffee/tea when taking a sip.
